18. YÜZYILIN İKİNCİ YARISINA AİT (M. 1787-1789) 3757 NUMARALI TEREKE DEFTERİNİN AMİD’DEKİ SOSYAL VE EKONOMİK HAYATA DAİR DÜŞÜNDÜRDÜĞÜ BAZI HUSUSLAR

Abstract

Öz Bu çalışmada 1787-1789 yıllarında Diyarbekir/Amid mahkemesine ait ölüm kayıtlarının tutulduğu 3757 numaralı tereke defterinin verileri esas alınmıştır. Burada kayıtlı 175 tutanakta ölen kişilerin sahip olduğu servet, cinsiyet, din, meslek ve unvan gibi hususlar üzerinden bazı değerlendirmeler tablolara dökülmek suretiyle ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca, Amid’de yerleşik olan vedışarıda ölenlerle buraya dışarıdan gelen ve kırsal yerleşim alanından gelenlerin profilleri üzerinde durulmaya çalışılmıştır. Anlatılan hususlardan hareketle bu yıllarda şehirdeki sosyo-ekonomik tablonun resmedilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Anahtar Sözcükler: Amid, tereke, mîras, guruş, zimmî.

This study is based on the data gained from tereke registers of second half of the 18th century numbered 3757 in which the death records were kept. In the study some evaluations are made by means of tabulation through the wealth, gender, occupation and title aspects of the dead people registered in 175 reports. Besides, it was tried to focus on the profiles of the people migrated from countryside and on the people who lived in the Amid but died outside of it. From this point of view it’s aimed to depict a socio-economic picture of the city in the stated years.
