Özet
Araştırma, eleştirmen Abdullah İbrahim'in "Tarihsel Kurgu, Anlatı, İmparatorluk ve Sömürge Deneyimi" adlı kitabı aracılığıyla tarihsel kurgu terimini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Eleştirmen kitapta , "tarihi roman" teriminin yerini alacak yeni anlatı terimi "tarihsel kurgu" çağrısında bulundu ve tarihe bir yaklaşım sundu; Çağdaş eleştirel ve felsefi çalışmalardaki romanın ve tarihin edebi türler teorisi ile var olan tartışmayı sona erdirmeye çabalamaktadır. Abdullah İbrahim bu kitaba tarihsel kurguya bağlı teorik bir giriş yaptı ve sonra Arap romanlarından tarih konulu birçok örneği ele alarak bu kitapta anlattı. Yazar Arap romanlarından yararlanırken tarihsel kurguyu açıklayan birkaç anlayış ortaya çıktı: İmparatorluk anlatıları, tarihsel olayların anlatı melezleşmesi ve temsili, tarihsel kurgu ve tarihi yazıtları, tarihsel kurgu ve teoloji. Bu anlayışlardan önce eleştirmen tarihsel kurgu ile ilgili bir mukaddime yazdı. Mukaddimede tarisel kurgu aracılığıyla romancılar tarihe dönüyor ve o dönemi tekrardan analiz yaparak çağdaş döneme uygun bir şekilde anlatıyor. Bu anlayışla tarih ve anlatı birlikte yeni bir edebi tür ortaya koyuyor. Eleştirmene göre tarihsel kurgu, geçmişi canlandırır ve tarihi değiştirememe kutsallığını kaldırır. Romanın anlatım alanına girer, tarih alanına paralel olarak romana hareket ve canlılık veren başka bir alan kurulur ve tarihi şimdiki zamanmış gibi yaşayarak onu değiştirmemekten uzakta yaşar.
The research aims to study the term "historical fiction" in the experience of critic Abdullah Ibrahim through his book "Historical Imagination, Narrative, Empire and the Colonial Experience". In the book, the critic called for the new narrative term "historical fiction" to replace the term "historical novel". He presented an approach to history, trying to end the controversy existing in contemporary critical and philosophical studies regarding the duality of novel and history, and the theory of literary genres, with a theoretical introduction and reading in applied models of the Arabic novel. His approach adopted history as a theme for its narration, and it clearly manifested itself in several concepts, including imperial narratives, narrative hybridization and representation of historical events, historical imagination and documents, historical imagination and theology. He presented it within the term "historical fiction" in which the novelist returns to the past and re-lives it again according to a vision consistent with the conditions of reality. In this way, history and narration mix to form a new artistic framework. Historical imagination, according to the critic, revives the past and removes its sanctity, making it enter the space of narration. Thus, another area is established parallel to the area of history, giving the text movement and vitality, so that the text lives in the present away from the forms of stagnation and stereotyping.
