dc.description.abstractBu çalışma Türk düşünce dünyasının en mümtaz kalemlerinden biri olan Hüseyin Cemil Meriç'in düşünce dünyasıyla Batı'dan Doğu'ya uzanan yaşam öyküsündeki kültürden irfana ulaşma çabasını içermektedir. Kuşkusuz onun engin deryasının içinde kulaç atmak çok kolay bir hadise değildir. Kimdir Cemil Meriç? sorusuna kendi ifadeleriyle "münzevi ve mütecessis bir fikir işçisi" şeklinde özetlenebilecek sıra dışı bir ömrün sahibidir. Hayat görüşüyle bir ayağı Batı'da, diğeri Doğu'da olan, aydınların bile tek tipleştirilmeye çalışıldığı bir dönemde herhangi bir "etikete" sığdırılamayacak şekilde kendisi kalabilmiş birkaç aydın arasında yer alır. Tez giriş ve sonuç bölümleri hariç, Gelenek ve Modernlik, Cemil Meriç'te Gelenek ve Modernlik kavramları ve Modernliğe karşı irfana dönüş çabası aktarılmaya çalışılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study includes the efforts of Hüseyin Cemil Meriç, who is one of the most outstanding figure of modern Turkish thought, to reach from the culture in the story of life from the West to the East through the world of thought. Undoubtedly, it is not easy to sway in its vast ocean. Who is Cemil Meriç? He has an extraordinary life, which can be summarized in his own words as "a hermit and an intellectual idea worker sor. It is one of the three five months of his life that he could not fit into any m label de at a time when the intellectuals were trying to be uniformized. Except for introduction and conclusion parts, Tradition and Modernity, Cemil Meriç's concepts of tradition and modernity and efforts to return to modernity are tried to be conveyed.en_US
