dc.description.abstractBir İslamî dönem Kürt edebiyatı, manzum ve doğal gazanamesi olan bu eser, halk arasında sözlü anlatım geleneğinde yaşam bulmuştur. Konusunu, İslami ilk dönem tarihi ve dini bir olaydan almıştır. Ehl-i Kitab olan bir "Mîr"in elinde, mistik özellikleri olup müslim olan "Hespê Reş" -diğer adıyla Borê Qer- adında bir at vardır. Bu at, Cenabê Peygamber"e iman etmiştir. Halife Hz. Ömer, bu atı Hiristiyan olan Mîr"den almak için, onların memleketine gelir ve bir şekilde Peygambere götürmek ister; ancak Hiristiyan Mîr, buna müsaade etmez ve aralarında savaş çıkar. Mîr"in kardeşi olan Rahip de, Hz. Ömer"e yardımcı olur; ancak yine de başaramazlar. Efsanevî bir kuş, Cenabê Peygamber ve ashabına, Hz. Ömer"in zor durumda olduğunu haber verir. Onlardan da, Hz. Ali, Hz. Osman, Hz. Hamza, Hz. Abbas, Hz. Ebûbekir yardıma gelir ve büyük bir savaş sonunda bu atı almayı başarırlar; atı alıp Medine şehrine götürüler. Bu eserin çeşitli yörelerde, halk arasında sözlü anlatımının yanında, birkaç yazılı nüshası da vardır. Kürt edebiyat araştırmacılarının bazıları, bu nüshaların Elî Herîrî"ye, bazıları Feqiyê Teyran"a, bazıları Mela Xalidê Zebarî"ye, bazıları da Ahmedê Xanî"ye ait olduğunu yazmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractQewlê Hespê Reş is an oral Kurdish epic written in verse at the Islamic period. The subject of the epic covers the early period of Islam and a religious event. A Christian "Mir" has a Musliman horse that has mystic features named "Hespê Reş" –also called Borê Qer. This horse believed Prophet Muhammad. According to the epic, Omar travels to the land of Mir with the son of Ali, Muhammad Hanife, to take the horse and give it to the Prophet; however, Mir does not agree and a dispute occurs among them. The brother of Mir, who was a Priest, also helps Omar but he does not succeed. A legendary bird informs the Prophet that Omar was in trouble. With the help of Ali, a great war takes place and they manage to take the horse to Medina. This literary work has oral versions as well as written versions in some regions. There is no agreement among Kurdologists about the author of the epic. Elî Herîrî", Feqiyê Teyran, Mela Xalidê Zebarî, and Ahmedê Xanî are believed to be the author of the epic according to some Kurdologists.en_US
